Could Someone Please Tell Me If It's Possible To Still Launch A Boat Onto The Gorge With This Darn Shutdown Goin On. Preferably The Utah Side. Thanks In Advance.

I don't see how they could stop you, at least on the Utah side as long as you have your certificate in the window. I think most of those places have a self pay station as well.

Not sure about launching a boat, however in the next 48 hours, the Lucerne valley campground will be closed until this crap is resolved.

I just got back from af canyon and they had signs up all over saying that they were shut down but you could still use all the amenities. The only thing that changed was all the camp grounds where closed and the bathrooms would not be cleaned. In my opinion you should be fine at the gorge because there is no way they could stop people from launching or retrieving there boats. Especially since the people with slips must have there boats out by october 15.

Talked with Ash yesterday. He said that this will affect him and shut him down due to the guide permits are through the forest service. He is not happy right now.

Yeah - I've got a constipated loan process, that sure could use a good dose of laxative!
