Took my neice/daughter and 2 buddies up to Strwberry on Saturday 10-12. Fished along side Mtcat for a good portion of the day and he was slaying them as well. In my boat we caught and kept all 82 fish we caught. Figured we would do out part in keeping the numbers down............
Just kidding, did not keep all the fish. We did keep a good mess of smaller rainbows and a few small cutts. 2 of my buddies like to eat them gross trout, YUCK.
We never caught a slot buster and never caught a rainbow bigger than about 17 inches. Geat day and good company.
Oh Yeah, the koke followed my buddies tube to right under the boat and smashed a tube jig. Kind of a surprise.

I agree. The bows are super strong. LOVE IT! A 17" can put a major bend in a rod that is for sure!

I was up there on Saturday as well and we saw several fish being caught from shore as well. We saw many caught on a worm and full bubble.

there were a shocking number of bank tanglers there sat. also a good amount of boat traffic. I thought fewer people would be there

Wow, you can say that again. There was so many boats and tubers over by Renegade that one would think it was opening day (us old timers can remember when we didn't have fishing year around except on a limited number of non-trout lakes).

I'm planning a trip to Strawberry this week sometime. Are the ramps still in the water at both/either Strawberry Bay Marina and Renegade? Thanks in advance for the reply...

We were at Strawberry Bay marina yesterday and they were still in the water, but they were working on taking the docks out. It won't be long before they are taken out.
