Ice report from Fairview Canyon Lakes (Huntington, Electric Lake, etc)

Any sign of ice? Usually hit it Black Friday-Sunday. Hoping for hard deck!

I remember a time when this site was actually quite helpful. There are some who do provide some assistance but in all the majority of the successful topics here are full of hate and drama. BigDramaTackle

Not hating on those who do post, just take a look at the top 10-20 posts threads that aren't locked and the long-time contributors, you know who you are because we used to interact regularly many moons ago when I found this site more useful.

Plain and simple, social networking and Facebook has taken over. I posted the same thing on my BigFish Utah facebook page and was overwhelmed with responses.

The ice is coming on. Scofields DAM arm has ice, some have even walked on it. Should be safe in certain spots by Turkey Day weekend. Huntington has some ice in the usual early forming spots (the dam, north east end) and some have already been fishing it. Same goes for Cleveland. Fairview Lakes all have safe ice as well as CC Pond and Bolgers.

This is what i know based on responses on Facebook, phone calls, and a certain fuzzy angler.

Basically said if you go to Fairview Canyon area, as the OP had inquired, you would find ice on the lakes.

Chances are he may not have been down there himself, but had heard there was ice. []
