I Heard there were people ice fishing at boulder creek last weekend any ice conditions updates?

4 inches as of Saturday. There was a pressure ridge a ways out beyond where we went. Ice didn't look safe out there so I never got that close to it. Everywhere I drilled was 4 inches....... It was "safe" enough, but still warrants extreme caution. BTW, fishing was terrible.

Oh yeah. If there is snow on top of the ice be very careful where you drill your holes. Some dummy threw about a half a bazzillion rocks onto the ice in front of the boat ramp. You hit one and you can kiss your blades good bye. Many of the rocks had sunk into the ice a ways and it may or may not be obvious that they are there.[:/][mad]
