New years day at Rockport
#1
Good way to kick off the new year by going ice fishing. Went with my dad, his first time on the ice since last year. Had a blast between the both of us we caught around 25 all rainbows ranging from 10-18 inches not bad for how many people were out on the ice and being my first time ice fishing rockport. fish were all caught at 5 feet in 10 feet of water. Enjoy

We were up there as well on New Years. Only caught 8, but we may been fishing a little deep. Pink was the color for us as well.

Only problem with the day was racers on the snow machines all over the lake and some guy on the boat ramp yelling the F word. Ohh well, I guess I had to explain that word to my kid sooner or later.

The fish we caught were nice and fat and tasted great for dinner. Good luck!

Edges were solid just slippery, Ice thickness was around 13inches, I was fishing in 10' of water, all the fish were at 5' I used only pink and that was the hot color that day. Did not matter what was used as long as it was pink.

Good luck.
