Another Newbie

Hi Gang,
I'm new to the whole fishing scene. Recently retired from the Air Force and new to the area. Have some extra time on my hands and looking for a hobbie and the opportunity to become a fishin hero to my grandson. I want to introduce him to the outdoors and make some lasting memories for the both of us.

I've gone out and bought all the tackle, ice shack, auger etc. and have ventured out onto the hard water after trying to glean some good info from this site to get a start. You all have posted some great informaiton on here - keep it coming.
