What A time at the Gorge
#1
We had a great day fishing at the Gorge in 50+ winds or they felt that much..

Three of us went to the Gorge on Thursday and got there at about 1:30 and I got my holes drilled first and had 4 trout on the ice and back in the holes before the others had any holes..
We was getting lots of rainbows and the JawJackers was going off like mad.. Then about 2:15 to 2:30 the wind came up and up and up, you had to hang on to your Slade or the wind would blow it away..
The snow that was on the ice was blown away and then the snow started or maybe the snow on the bank was just blowing past us.
It was all but imposable to keep the snow out of the holes, but the fishing was on firer, one two three poles at one time or all at once..You stand up and your chair or bucket would be flying over the ice..

And cold WOW take off your gloves to remove the hook and your hands was so cold you could not bait your hook..

FUN you bet catching lots of fish, and big ones at that makes for a very fun and cold day..

Oh and the wind forced us off the lake by 4:30 with hands and fingers that may not work again..[Wink]
