Live from deer creek

Arrived just before sun up fishing the south side of the island in 28 ft of water and so far we have 3 rainbows on the ice.

Ice is 6-7 and clear. Just iced our 4th. They're coming thru any where from 20-8 ft down.

There's a few inches of snow. Makes for easy walking. We've now caught 8 so far

13 so far. A few of them around 17 inches and girthy

Ended up with 15 total caught and had a few keepers. They weren't pucky with what we offered them. The bite died off around 130

On my way up to go ride the sleds I saw all you guys out there ice fishing today, some guys fishing on the ice like 30-40 feet from open water [shocked]. Little too brave for me. I could not believe the number of guys out on deer creek today. Throughout the lake probably 150 people at least.

It was way busy today. I couldn't believe how many people were there.
