First time ever pike fishing first pike of the day! 34 INCHES 12POUNDS then caught two more 22 and 21 inches spoons and chub meat between three of us we caugjt a total of 5 not the fastest day of fishing but for some rookies cant complain!

Sweet job. Always wanted too catch a pike but whenever I go on the soft water it's always a skunk for me on carp or perch in the end of the day.

Good job Big AL. Did you let the youngster reel in some of them fish? Did you bring him? That first picture that point looks familiar. Good job, way to hammer them. If they are going to plant all them perch in there you need as many of them damn things out of there as possible. Don't worry about them pike disappearing they will always be in there.

Thanks glen. No the boy wasn't feeling well so he stayed home but now he's wanting to make a trip down so looks like in a week or two we will be back at it. Hopefully he can catch one bigger than mine. Love to see the Smiles when that happens

My family just ate the ones we caught and we deep fried them and Made fish tacos I think they are good eating filleting was abit tricky

I did have steel leader on all my rigs with 6pound test nothing special I think I just got lucky

no atv from where i parked my truck the walk was about a five minute journey easy walking not bad at all
