I think the ice is good. The fishing is a different story. Been tough on the pond this winter. If you happen to be in the right place at the right time you can still catch fish, but, in general its been a pretty slow year. The water year isnt looking good either so might not improve soon for whities

Ya I agree with you. Last year was fast and furious but this year is a hit or miss best time I had last month was from 7-9am ish but after that it's just dead.

fished AF harbor sunday and it was decent fishing.
i got 24 gills 1 sunfish and 1 Wb, and my buddy got about 20 gills aswell.
not the biggest gills but decent size.

ice was 16-17 inches thick and solid.

Sounds like a good day as well. My best day was 15 bg and 1 crappie from 8-930am ish then dead from 10-11am. When I wen't it was nice seeing the 7-8" bg nice and fat but ly I had work so all of them went back home.

Went there on Monday for the first time and did great, hit the main lake going on at the pumphouse. We iced around 80 whitebass nothing else. They were picky only wanted a certain bait. Sucks when you only have one of them. I didn't think it was so bad ice was good wheeler tracks all over the place.

That's interesting. First report too say white bass around the pump house. Fished there a few times this year only blue gill and crappie only small school. Not a single white bass in that area [laugh].

Wish there were more blue gill and crappie action as well maybe a few perch.
