Nothing too exciting. Got settled in at 10 and not a hit or anything until 3:30-3:40. Big school of kokes came through and kept swiping and getting off . Managed to pull in three 8"-10" and my girlfriend pulled in one 9". Kept hearing everybody say the same thing...no hits. Edges were solid and so was the ice. A lot of snow on top though. One more fish off the list and my girlfriend said good bye to a two season ice skunk.

Definitely not. If I'm not mistaken, I believe there are horsepower restrictions also. Basically small canoes and stuff is all you ever really see on the lake.

I'm almost positive that Causey is a "no motors" lake.

A little friendly FYI. Causey has no motor or boat size restrictions. If you can carry it, you can launch it. There is no easy access, and as was mentioned earlier, it can really be a chore when the water starts to drop, even with a small boat. If you wanna drag a giant crane up there and launch a ski boat, you can do it. I'm sure regs would change if that was the case though, as the lake is very small, and I know the small boats wouldn't appreciate the wake.
