The road looked packed down by snowmobiles, but we took the lake. There is a pretty packed trail past Haws. The slush must have been bad but it is froze back up. There was a Razor that made it out there.

Hope it helps!

Fishing has been best along the west side of Renegade near the shore. Several fishermen are reporting 80 plus fish days. I always fish just East of the boat ramp in 20 ft of water. I had a 29 fish day last monday. I ride in on the road with a snowmobile. A few trucks have tried to get in on the road. Judging by the tracks, none have made it. I passed one guy, by himself trying to get back up a slight incline with his truck. I have no compassion for people who drive trucks into areas like that. I suppose if it was dark and he was stuck, I would give a hand, but... Sometimes stupidity deserves no compassion. Two atv's made it in last monday across the lake. There were 6 groups fishing the area last monday. The previous time I was there, there were 2 groups. If you want isolation, this is the place. The slush was anywhere from 0 to 4 inches deep. We arrived at 9 am and fished until 3. Things slow down considerably after noon. It was -1 when we arrived at the drop off point at 7:30. A slight breeze made it very cold. We setup the tent after a few hours just to get out of the breeze. Thank goodness for heaters. Sky's were clear and cloudless. Great day to be on the ice.

Well I hope karma will rear it's ugly face at you at some point. Just because he got stuck doesn't make him stupid. I believe in helping people no matter what their circumstance, shows character. Pretty ignorant in my opinion.
