Finally!

I don't normally post reports but this one is worthy. Caught this guy friday morning, first drop first fish. Caught 16 others. Was done fishing by 930am when fish got picky. Worst part about fishing solo is its hard to get good pictures on the lake. Best pic I got of me when I got home.

Welcome to BFT. Just so ya know we kinda have a "didn't tell, don't ask" rule on the site. No harm, no foul.

But - what we call "hotspotting" - if someone makes a post, and doesn't choose to reveal the location, no one should "out it" or "guess".

Simply asking as you did is perfectly fine. Just understand - some folks like to keep their honey-holes private. And a site like this CAN draw some attention to a body of water. So does Adam Eakle, but I won't get into that.

Yeah...I wasn't asking for GPS, just what lake. I took a picture of a fish in my bathtub once and the next morning 43 people were in it. If it was kidney pond i get it, but to say strawberry, DC, or a large lake, me thinks the fishing pressure isn't going to increase that much as MOST posts you can tell where they were either by picture or disclosure.

Great fish , if I caught him he would be getting mounted .

Your right on about the mount, alot depends on where it was caught , but from what he said about where he caught it, for sure a mounter!!!

When anyone walks into his house, they will look at it and say
"Where'd ya catch that?"

The people I know off this sight, quite a few, aren't liers or fabricators. Just great men who want all to have a great time enjoying nature. If those you know aren't this way, let me know so I can hook you up with the good guys. That's why we are on this sight and not others....[shocked]

Wow looks like you had some fun. I assume you were ice fishing, if so how do you get a big toad like that through the hole? I'd need a bigger hole for sure. Nice job. J

Dropped it off at the taxidermist yesterday. Its definitely worth it to me to have a fish like this on the wall.

I agree most of us chase them for a lifetime and still have a bare wall. Congrats. J
