Scofield Ice/Slush

Fellow Lip Rippers,

We are trying to take a group ice fishing this weekend but with all of the reports of the slush monster, we are limited in our search for the best place to go.
Has anyone been up to Scofield in the last few days that can tell us what the conditions are for ice and slush?

Went Wednesday. Ice conditions were ok. Slush monster is in full force. On and off was great. Fishing conditions were wonderful, the only thing we could catch was a black and white fury critter that stunk. Went home early!

There was about 3-4" of water with 3-4" of snow on top. We were thinking of taking our ATVs but glad we didn't. A sled would probably bogg down also. The ice was 16" thick but is soft and hard to cut through.
