Leader line question

Do you guys/gals replace the leader line on treble and/or dough bait hooks? I don't want to lose any fish or hooks because of bad leader lines. If it warms up enough next month I will get out the pontoon boat and use the expensive hooks. I'm using the cheaper ones for the shore fishing. Thanks for the input.

I change leader with every trip, and as often as needed when fishing. Run your fingers along the line and you can feel any frays that may have weakened your line.
