Yuba Pike?

So the pike should be hungry in a week or two after they're done spawning. What's the best way to catch them? I've caught them using spinners and jerkbaits but ive been wanting to take a float tube and try a fly rod. Has anyone had success this way?

Yes last year I used an 8 wt using clousers. Also I was on my toon.
