It is called '[url "http://www.windfinder.com/"]Windfinder[/url].' It is devoted to wind only statistics and can be invaluable for deciding if you really want or need to drive a couple hundred miles if there is a very good chance you wouldn't want to launch your boat when you get there.

The wind gathering stations are limited (nothing for Starvation or Flaming Gorge for example), but you can find one for Strawberry, Lake Powell, Bear Lake, Willard Bay, etc.
