Weber - Horseshoe Bend
#1
I drove to the Weber on Saturday with the intent to fish the Horseshoe Bend area. However, upon arrival, I could see that the water was high and muddy (the gates on the diversion dam at Mountain Green were still up and they were not taking out water).
I decided to not fish there and went to the Ogden River where I had limited success for small browns.

Do any of you know when they will begin damming up the water at this diversion dam or who I could contact to find out?

Thank you!

Try looking up the Weber Basin Water Conservancy
They usually increase flows from Echo mid to late April not sure if open those gates about the same time. The secondary water system is supposed to start flowing tomorrow so maybe.

Thanks for the information, Riverdog. I will give the Weber Basin Water Conservancy a call. I know that the secondary water is now on in South Davis Countyl so maybe they will start taking water out soon to augment the water supply.
