Porcupine/Causey Kokes

I fished Causey on Sat. and tried to fish for Kokanee. I had not luck with the Kokes only the Splake. I saw them on my fish finder at 15-20 feet but I couldn't hook up[:/]. Can anybody give me some pointers for Causey and when Porcupine freezes Kokes? Thanks, you guys are great.

Kokes move in schools, if a school doesn't come by it's pretty tough to get one. I have the best luck using a swedish pimple or kast master in silver or gold as an attractor. Tie a pink ratfinkee about 8" above or below the swedish pimple and put a wax worm on the ratfinkee.

Active Jigging attracts the kokes. You have to pay close attention, the kokes won't generally bite and stay on the line. You have to strike when they bite.

A fish finder is invaluable.
