Pineview Tiiger Muskie
#1
Taking my boys to Pineview this weekend and would love to catch some Tiger Muskie. I would really appreciate any advice. I've never fished for Tiger Muskie before, and never fished at Pineview before.

I have a little 8 foot Jon Boat with only a trolling motor, so any pointers about where to fish, or what lures to use, and what time of day is the best ect. would be greatly appreciated. I also love a good day of bass fishing so any advice on the what works for the bass at Pineview would be great as well.

Thanks for any help!!

I personally wouldn't take a boat that small out on a summer weekend at Pineview. If you do, fish very very early. I have not fished the lake much, so I really don't have advice on where you should go. But I have fished it enough to know that I don't like taking my 18' boat out there on a Saturday.

I've had people come by on skis and try to high five us...just plain ridiculous.

Anywhere there is brush or cover is a good place to start for fish up there. For muskies I like throwing crankbaits/stickbaits. Trolling them can also be very effective around points and rocky shorelines. My personal favorite however, is a dark colored soft plastic jig...tube or curly tail. I like to fish it for bass and while doing so you often times hookup with a musky.
