Wyoming to Willard
#1
Hey guys, used to live real close to Utah and fished Willard a time or two... love that place.

I am heading through there on Monday and I'm going to give it a shot... I had a few questions.

How high is the water right now? Is shore fishing along the dyke a possibility? (Is it deep enough against the dyke to hold fish right now?)

Are shore fisherman doing alright anywhere? I would be targeting eyes and wipers and probably fishing at night so that the fish move in more shallow. I guess if the lake is really low I'll bring my yak or tube.

Thanks for the information!

Willard is fishing good from the shore.
If you use the yak, you may still want to stay close to shore and work the edges of the dike.
The water level is low.
Bugs are out so have spray and or a face net.

Water is pretty low still. Willard has been really hot fishing for over a month now. I don't have a lot of experience there, so I'll let the real experts answer your questions. But hope she treats ya well. J
