Check out this new book. It is a great resource if you want to fish alpine lakes close to the Wasatch Front. I never knew we had so many good alpine fishing spots so close to home

Looked it up on Google, checked out the blurb that goes with it, Alpine lakes surrounding SLC, looks like one worth checking out, except he does use the term hike in the blurb... and I'm not a hiker! []
