Went up to see how the middle for of the boise is looking. Chocolate Shake is the words to best describe it. All the thunder storms and slides have silt flowing down the river even weeks afterwards. There are places where things have changed quite a bit. Hopefully it doesn't cause issues that carry over to the next few years..

Dang. I was up there a few days before it happened and it was beautiful. That river has restored itself before and it will again. Thanks for letting us know what is going on.

Could be worse. The Teton came back from the dam collapse. For perspective, imagine the MFB buried under debris up to 30 feet deep. I'm not talking a little silt in the water, I mean the entire canyon bottom buried side to side for 15 miles and the original channel totally obliterated.
