N[bobhappy]the Warrior Princess and I headed to Jordanelle this morning to see if the perch were bunching up yet. Originally the plan was to night fish Starvation Sat. Night. after putting up 27 pints of salsa Sat. We were too tuckered out so we altered our itinerary. Launched out of Hailstone a little before 7. Air was about 50 water was about 64. We were at the tail end of the top water bite however I did catch 3 small mouth on a top water before that bite shut down. Jeanine scored the first perch, a porky 8 incher, then I boated a nearly footer. All told we had a half dozen decent perch about that many 10" and a few 7, 8, and 9". All fish were caught in 24' of water on a hump we had marked weeks earlier. I have attached a picture of the exact spot. All fish were puking perch minnows and there were several mini boils of minnows trying to escape. Top bait was a #4 hook with a dime size piece of perch 12" above a southern pro hustler on a red head. Next best was a monk minnow in wallyworld tipped with worm and drop spotted.bite was over at 10:30 and we headed home. No bass over 12" were caught. Tacos tomorrow night.

I love it! Giving the location of the magic hump.
Hope no one complains about hot spotting.
Hope you have many more successful trips.

Nice to read a perch report re:Jordy. And nice perch at that. I've found 'em on the north end out from the submerged sagebrush in 8-12'. Hope they're catchable this winter thru the hard deck.

Are you sure that marker is on the exact spot. I was looking on Google Earth today and I could not find it !!! You have been around TD to much !! Very funny, but very silly !!! Those are some great perch. Good to know that there are still some in there that size!!
