Yesterday, I took my Twinz out for some WB action, didn't think we were going to get anything cause of the rain...So, Guess what, it was CRAZY action...We threw back over a hundred 5"ers but kept 19, that was 11-13" We haven't had this much action fi A LONG time...Great Day despite the rain...
The Twinz loved it and they wanted to back today after school, so Im going to make it happen..LOL
Oh yea, this was all from the bank..

My best day ever for whites was when it was a rainy gloomy day. Great job in getting them from shore!

Update...I took the Twinz out after School and it was still on fire O.M.Goodness...We released AGAIN over a hundred baby ones and landed 50+ 10-12"ers but I landed the biggest I ever caught, it measured in at 14 1/2" I was shocked that it was that big...

I didn't feel like cleaning them so I gave most of them to my family, which they will enjoy...

Good thing they have a die hard fisherman in the family ( ME ) lol

[#008000]Ya know, you really ought to consider releasing those big mammas, after all they don't stock white bass, and they are really needed to assure the next generation has a chance. [crazy][/#008000]

But that said, sounds like fun, nothing like getting the kids on hot action, it'll keep 'em hooked and hopeful. Nice that you could share with the fam-crew. [#008000]Hope you got your donation card filled out, after all don't want to go over-limit on them basslings![/#008000]

And yeah - I'm just being a dumb-bass, so never mind me. A 14 is impressive! [:p]

Man I hear you I went out yesterday to the spot I think you went to and caught 158 whitebass, all crazy big. I caught a few baby ones but majority were like you said around 12 which is big for the past few years. thousands of them everywhere within 50 yards. Any chance you related to Chan Deng?

Took the Fam out today again for some white bass action... The kids loved every minute of it catch and release was in full effect...We didn't bring a bucket or live well this time...We spent a few hours there, caught and released 100+...I must say, for the first time, the kids got tired of unhooking them lol...

I can almost say, I'm fished out lol, well, ALMOST haha

Many PM's has been answered on where I fished, so have fun guys...

IIRC, 7-9' at neck of the Marina, thats what the sign said at the front gate...I was catching them as shallow as a foot deep...

I had to run with my outdrive almost all the way up until I got almost a half mile out of the harbor mouth a couple weeks ago. Water was only 1.5 to maybe 2.5 ft. deep.
