Help with Pineview Info

I was thinking of taking the kids to Pineview this weekend to fish from shore. I am not too familiar with the area and was hoping someone could offer some information on a good area to fish from shore with younger kids. Thanks in advance

The free access area just south of the Port Ramp is still open (or was on Monday) and is a good spot to take kids. Fishing there is good - catching is something I can't predict.
