Launched from north marina around noon and headed over to the feedlot. A lot of marks showed up on the sonar between 8' and 10' so that is where we concentrated our fishing. We drug worm harnesses around for a couple of hours and never got a bite or nibble. Decided to start draggin cranks around at 2mph and managed 2 wipers. The first one was a personal best of 22" and the other came in just under 19". Water temps was 63 at launch and hit 66 by the time we left at 5.

Thanks for posting your report and pics. Sounds like the same results I had a little over a week ago. The catching has really slowed down but they are still biting. I also used a worm harness, when I was there last but trolled at the same speed as I was pulling cranks, I just used leads core line to get the worm harness to the bottom.

I went out today. This may be noew, but they have signs up saying the North Marina ramps are closed due to low water. There were four or five small boat rigs who launched anyway, but I wouldn't try it with any thing much bigger than a jon boat. Parts of the marina is high and dry.

Water temp 63° and quite murky. I estimated not much more than a foot of visibility. Dead calm most of the morning.

I worked north and trolled cranks. Got one baby smallie and foul-hooked a 4-inch shad. Both released, of course. Saw a couple of guys land a kitty off Eagle Beach and so I soaked a piece of cut chub on the bottom and tossed a tube jig with a worm sweetener there while I had lunch. Nada.

Those two guys came in when I did, and they had managed only four cats between early morning and 2 pm. I have to call that slow.
