Video of ice fishing on Lake Superior

[pirate]Many of us are wanting to go ice fishing, so a friend sent me this video that features very clear ice.

I got more ice fishing equipment for this season. Seeing this video, I'm tempted to seek new clear ice. That looks fun. I never fished on clear ice before.

Please post when clear ice is found when posting your ice fishing reports particularly if water clarity is good. I also prefer to choose clear water even when the ice isn't clear because I'm using an underwater camera.

I saw that video a couple years ago when it was first posted on youtube. I still love watching it! Clear ice is a tone of fun to fish. Though it can be hazardous for the slippage factor. []

Cool video. I have fished clear ice just like that at Bear lake. It is a little different watching the fight all the way to the hole. Really freaked my wife out when it started cracking.
