I stopped by on the way back from Fish lake and decided on fishing a new spot. I parked on the east side and walked out about 200 yards hoping to get past the weed bed. I still wasn't so I kept on punching holes every 30 yards through 12" of ice. After about 5 more holes I got past the weeds and fishing in 16 ft of water. Only one bite in about a hour so I left and don't think I'll fish that side again.

I only have a couple of hours saturday morning so I was planning on going up there for a quick outing. What have you used to catch them there this year? I know you told me once but I am too lazy to go back through all the posts to find that post again.
