Millsite - w/pics - The fish are starting to wake up

I fished Millsite Reservoir today with a friend in our kick boats. We normally fish the upper portion of the reservoir but because of the winds we have had, the water up there was murky. We decided to launch at the State Park boat ramp and go from there. The visibility in the water was still only about 4'. We used fast sinking lines with size 6-8 leeches and crystal buggers in olive, tan/green/pearl, and a [#0000ff][/#0000ff][#0000ff]TubeDude[/#0000ff] pattern called the green meannie. The water temperature was 40-42 degrees and the reservoir is 71% full. We caught rainbows, cutthroats, splake, and one tiger trout. All of the fish were between 10" (recent planters) and 17" long. It was a nice day to be on the pond.

I plan on having 8 rods with me.

1 ultra light rigged for the bluegills
1 spin rod rigged with spoons
1 spin rod with a 3" curly tail jig
1 fly rod with type III or IV sinking line with buggers
2 baitcasters with either lipless cranks or small lips
And two others I haven't figured out yet.[laugh]
