pay attention boaters!
#1
This happens to me every year at least a couple times.... when you are driving your boat full throttle coming or going. . Please stay clear of the back of others boats that are trolling! Someone at willard yesterday snagged both my lines, took the spool of line and the Rapala off with them. Stuff does happen yes. But please pay attention.

How close are the boats coming to you?

Yeah. What have you been doing to attract this degree of wanton aggression?

Just kidding. Yes, it's a basic rule of boating that the slower craft has the right of way, and that "well clear" means just that. Sadly, many people boat the same way they drive - like idiots.

last year at Strawberry a boat went behind me and reached down and pulled the line up and looked at the lure I was catching fish with.
I did not even get mad at him I had never seen any one do that.
One good thing, he did not cut my line.
we were going the same way he saw us catch 3 fish next thing I know he was coming at my motor I could not get away from him.
