Another Willard Post
#1
Hit Willard Saturday 4/25, chasing Crappie.
Not near as hot of action as it seems it was the past week, but we did manage to boat limits for the 3 of us. First 3 hours, not a bite. Then they would come in little waves (guessing schools were moving around between the madness of boats).
So, thanks for the bits of info that was given to make the trip a success. We did get to put some white fillets in the fridge. Those slabs sure are healthy right now. Didn't check the temp, just fished here and there within the masses.

Sounds like you had successful day - and yes, there are some nice sized ones this year.

One nice mess of fish.
I haven't fished Willard in 30 or more years.
Do you cast and pull a grub or fish a jig under a bobber, I've killed them at Powell with a bobber.
Guess I'll have to give it a try when my fishing partner gets back next week from Hawaii, he's going out on a charter Wed.
