Provo bay tribs
#1
Hit the tribs in springville yesterday, water is LOW they have the launch blocked off due to extremely low water. Fishing was pretty eh.I need up with 3 small whitties and and a 26 inch cat. The cat made it worth it but I still can't believe it bit. It was in probably less than a foot of water. But if I were a guy looking to shoot some carp that's where I would be they were in there THICK. Just make sure you wear long pants lots of nettel.

I have heard them called the golf coarse streams,Camelot, the springville streams. To be honest I don't know what the name of them is.

[#0000FF]Those inlets are reached by taking the first Springville offramp and then taking the ROUGH dirt road north...along the west side of I-15. One of the inlets is Hobble Creek. The other is a canal at the end of the road that comes in under the freeway from the Novell area. It is all along the far east side of Provo Bay (Mud Lake)

The name is the Mill Race. That is what is called in the Utah Lake access list. Been loaded up with carp for the last three weeks. Most shots are under 4-5 yards.

In years past that has been a fun area to float tube. When the water levels are up that is. Usually a few fish hanging out and even some willing to bite. We sure can use all the rain we can get!

I agree about the water level. It is a lot lower then it was last year. I honestly think a person could wade all the way to Sandy Beach!
