My daughter is coming home from school for a few days and wants to go fishing with the old man. I have to take advantage of that. Just wondering if anyone has been to East Canyon lately, and has a recent fishing report. East Canyon is close, and we don't have a lot of time. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

we were there last week. trolling from a boat was hot. we had better luck middle to southern end of lake. it really didn't matter what we pulled. pop gear worm, jakes, flatfish all took hits.

We were there about 2 weeks ago. Had good luck trolling large white rapalas behind dodgers.

If you're interested in SMB at all, cast Rapala Shad Rap SR5 cranks in crawdad colors along rocky points. Also wacky rigged Yamamoto Senkos work very well up there too. Good luck!

Was up there last night. I had my little cousin with me, so all we did was soak a worm behind a splitshot and let the wind push us across the lake. Once we found the fish, we couldn't get them off of the hook. We ended up with 12 over an hour and a half. Most were 14-18 inches, with one topping 22 inches!
