[#800000]I'll be camping at the State Park for a week starting tomorrow. I'll be fishing alone on Thursday, Friday, and Monday. If you'd like to go boat fishing with an old curmudgeon on any of those days, shoot me a PM for contact information. [/#800000]

I have a question for you a little off your subject.
Your boat is a lot like mine, and you are about the same age as me, do you launch and retrieve your boat all by yourself, and go out fishing alone?
Do you do anything special to control the boat and go through the launch/retrieve process?
Thanks for any info.

When it's warmer, I also have a pair of water shoes I can slip on. I leave the boat connect to the trailer up front and back in until the rearend of the boat just floats. I then wade out, disconnect the strap, climb into the boat in front, start the boat motor, and drive to the dock. Then I go park the truck. Coming back is just the reverse of that. It's never been a problem for me. Even with a total knee replacement in March, I've gone solo twice already this year.[/#800000]
Thanks for any info.
If you go alone a lot as I do, google up and take a look at Ezee Steps.
I am disabled and only have one hand. I launch/retrieve my 1875 Lund and use my spare tire as a step but i really should invest in the Ezee Steps sooner than later.

Thanks Dubob. You and SBennett have given me some good ideas for launching and fishing with my boat when I am alone.
I find myself going more by myself, and I didn't want to be limited to shore fishing all the time when I have a good fishing boat to go out in.
Thanks, and good luck.

[#800000]I saw the report kind sir. We should do it again this summer. I have reservations made for Strawberry, Starvation, and the Gorge coming up and I'm sure to have open seats in the boat for all of them. Stay tuned for the announcements. My bride says thanks again for the publishing tips; much appreciated.[/#800000]
