Rockport 6/20 report
#1
Well I hadn't seen any recent Rockport reports so we decided to load up the boat and give it a try. We started out trolling on the south east side and graphing quite a few fish. After no luck we decided to try some drifting. Caught two smaller ones doing this on a marshmallow and worm. The wind then shut off and we picked up two fat 18 inchers. We found that the bigger ones didn't want hot unless we were basically sitting still. So i put the anchor out and we caught a few more. The finder had the water temp at 66. We were on the water at about 10:30 and off at about 5 when the wind started to pick up. These rainbows sure did fight like crazy! Made it to be a really fun day out on the water.

Yeah, the bigger one that my wife caught did. It was pretty cool since the water was pretty clear and it was pretty close to the boat so we got to watch it come up from deep all the way out of the water. I was kicking myself because i have a go pro type camera and forgot it. I could have gotten some pretty cool video of some of those fish.

I've been thinking the same thing, got to get a go pro to film some of my trips.
