I think the heat may have something to do with it. Time to head for the hills me thinks. [sly]

On the water at 0700. Water was 78 and really choppy. Trolled cranks at 3 mph. Kept 4 wipers and 2 Walleye. Returned 6 smaller wipers. Left at 11:00 after the deer flies chased us off. Seriously, wear DEET if you go.

Until this morning I haven't been on the Bay for about a month. My son and I were on the water shortly after 0600 and headed in at 1100. We ended up with 6 wipers, 2 walleye and one channel cat. The walleye and catfish are for dinner tonight. Back to the Gorge Weds. for a few days.

Missed you out there. I launched at the So.Marina.
ended up catching 5 wipes and 1 cat, all returned to swim again. I noticed allot of shad on the finder, I think like somebody else posted previously, I'm done with Willard this year, to much food swimming around out there. The deer flies are over the top this year, even biting thru a thick cotton shirt. Have fun at the Gorge

The deer flies were kind of bad in a few places out there yesterday, little buggers hurt when they bite.
