Where to get a boat?
#1
My Dad wants to get a fishing boat this year. Anyone have any thoughts on a good place in/near Holladay to go look around? He wants a boat that has ample room for 4-6 people but a size that 2 people won't have trouble launching. Thanks for the info!

Hi. There's a boat show at the southtown center next month. That should be a good place to look around.

think about a pontoon boat. They are very easy to launch and load. They have lots of room and are relatively inexpensive.

Here is some online you can look at with used boats for sale . Might give you a idea of prices , but go to the boat show and check them out .

This is a great place to look and establish a value for all different types of boats. They've got a great search engine to find a boat in your price range, size, type, etc. [#333366]Boat Trader Online[/#333366] I'd check locally before you decide to go out of the area to buy. Service means a lot, Whether you go new or used, private seller, or dealer. What ever you do, don't get in a hurry.

A lot depend on how much you want to spend and if you want to buy new or used. BLM knows what he is talking about, take your time don't get in a hurry, there are a lot of boats out there. If you want to buy new then look in the yellow pages under Boat Dealers and see if there is one close to you. Again, look around don't get in a hurry, you have a few months before the ice is gone. Good luck on finding that boat. WH2
