Fishing the Beaver Mountain Lakes?
#1
I'm going to be trying out some of those lakes next week with flies and spinners....out of curiosity, has anyone fished up there? If so what works for you? I'm debating between either Anderson Meadow and Lower Kent's by the way

Personally, I always enjoyed the upper Kents lake over Anderson meadow or the lower kents...but it's been a number of years since I have tried any of them. Knowing what they are stocked with, though, I would try flies.

A few years ago I was fishing upper Kents lake with dries right before dark. The fishing was good using a size 20 parachute Adams when a bat picked up my fly and flew off. I reeled him in and had a difficult time releasing him. I actually just cut my leader. So watch out for the bats...
