Randy, Kory and I fished Strawberry today. Nothing exceptional to report. Despite me having an off day, we still caught over 100 cutthroats (two over the slot) and a few rainbows. White tube jigs tipped with chub cut-bait seemed to be the best combination today and tipping with raw shrimp also produced. Nearly all fish were caught vertically jigging. Casting and bouncing back to the boat didn't produce many today. It took some searching but we found a large school in 37' of water. The catching was pretty fast there until the wind came up around 11:25 AM.
As always, fun outing with Randy and Kory.

Yes Kent, that sounds like a typical cutt-slaying day for you! (BTW, anyone reading this that would like to go up there mid-week and do that in my boat, shoot me a PM and we can arrange something.)

Glad you guys made it out and did so good ... Wow, over 100 fish! I'll bet Randy was just "aching" to get out again.

Good work guys! I managed to catch quite a few fish that day myself, though none were cuts.
