Hey heard a rumor over the weekend of someone fishing Cutler Canyon and pulling in a fish that sounded a lot like a white bass... Going to try and get a picture of it to see what it is... Pretty sure they knew what a crappie is so its not a crappie, but I know the white bass shouldn't be in there so it was pretty concerning and interesting at the same time... It wasn't me, although you have heard me post that the F&G should plant WB in Cutler in the past, I wouldn't take it into my own hands... I know better and prefer to do things through proper channels... Besides I still haven't ever caught one or fished Utah Lake... Anyone else heard or seen anything like this? Later J

My best gues says it was a gizzard shad. I think they are in there.

I'll see if I can get the picture so we have a better chance to identify it. He said it looked sort of like the wiper but smaller. J

Oops I'm so embarrassed, got a picture and it was a small mouth bass so it wasn't close to a white bass. Sorry everyone. J
