Went to DC for a couple hours Saturday morning walked around the Island, caught alot of bass and one walleye using my top water popper, took a few home for dinner.
Caught alot of 5 to 6 inch LM.

So that was you! I was working the shoreline SW of Island Beach in my float tube that morning and saw someone out on the point of the island. I had about the same success (size and species) as you. Great way to start a Saturday.
