Deep Fish

Fishing Bear Lake today on the East side I was graphing fish at 145'. Are those really fish at that depth?

Welcome to the site Jonesy. Yes there are plenty of fish that deep at Bear lake but they can be tough, although not impossible to catch. Did you have any luck?

I can't speak for BL but I have caught a fish at the gorge (didn't think I would really hook up) at a little over 120' fow just outside Linwood. I lost it about halfway up. That's all I got. Moving on []

Hey Curt, do you think they could be Cisco ?. aren't they a deep water fish ?.

For sure they could be cisco but we have caught macks ans cutts that deep before at BL. You can usually tell what kind of fish they are by the arch. Macks and cutts will have a big arch but cisco, will appear as a ball or smaller arches but in most cases will be grouped together. Hey Chuck, have you had a chance to get out there in Colo for any eye fishing?
