Great, any requirements to enter the "drawing" for the rod/reel combo?

We are in the process of coming up with guidelines but nothing has been decided yet.
We have talked about it being decided by the best fishing post or the best fishing related question but that is as far as we have gone. It will not be a drawing. If anyone has other ideas on a contest like this, to give away this combo, please let me know but we want to give everyone a fair chance.

Does this mean that Mike has no remaining ownership?

Yes, that is true but he will be around for a while, until the new owners have everything in hand.

For those of you that haven't heard, BFT has a new owner and he and his wife will be doing some new things in the coming months.

Hopefully, that is exciting news and that they will feed the cow, rather than just continuing to milk it like the prior owner did (primarily referring to the owner who was the majority owner after Mike).

Good to see that we will have new owners.
Change can be a good thing when done properly.
As far as a ladies board goes, I'm good with it. There are some ladies that will be more comfortable posting there.
Contests and giveaways are hit and miss as far as how much they contribute to a forum. Politics usually get in the way.
Good on the new owners for trying.
I hope it works for them.
BFT is only as good as it's members.
Support by the owners toward the members will go a long way in keeping BFT a good forum.
