Hey all, just thought we'd try something a little different... I have lined up a spot at Holy Smoke Restaurant at 855 Heritage Park Blvd in Layton, Utah on Thursday November 12th at 6:00 PM for a BFT get together chew the fat and awards ceremony... Holy Smoke is great barbeque food, I love the meatloaf sandwich with hush puppies, but they have lots of great stuff available on their menu.. Including catfish if you still want more of that... Anyway this is buy your own meal, they have offered us the military discount of 15% off just tell them your with the BFT group then meet us in their side banquet room... We will visit and when all is finished eating we'll present the BFT Catfish Challenge awards... Tried to find a central location that won't be too far for anyone to travel, so I hope you can join us... This is not only for contestants, but all BFT members that want to get together and visit with folks from the forum... Please RSVP with the number of folks coming with you so we have enough room for everyone... You can just add a post to this one so others can see who will be there as well.. Thanks all... J

Sorry that day won't work, a week night was best for the restaurant and I hoped it wouldn't interfere too much with weekend plans. Maybe next time. Thanks for the comments. J

I'll be there with two crew members.
I might even bring my Shimano Sedona C3000 spinning reel with 8 ball bearings, aluminum ported spool with power handle and 7Ft 3in med/light 2 piece graphite carbon composite rod with hand turned cork handle, Fuji reel seat, and Fuji silicone carbide long cast spinning guides and 6-12lb test line... just to show it off.
BLK and crew

I will be there, but no crew, just 1. It should be fun to meet people and have some good food!
Thanks!

[#0000FF]Jes might be doable. TubeBabe will be back in town so I can score some points by taking her out to dinner.
Celebrating BLKs victory kinda reminds me of the old joke about the farm couple on their 50'th wedding anniversary. The old gal is all excited and says: "Let's go kill a rooster." Her grumpy old husband says: "Why should we punish a chicken for some fool thing we did 50 years ago?"
Congrats again, Lynn. You done earned it.

Hey Pat, hope you can make it and get credit for taking the babe out as well... They do a pretty good job of smoking their catch as well, not as good as you do, but then again not sure I know anyone that makes a catfish taste as good as you... Hope to see you there... J

Thought I would come and bring my son, but just found out work is shipping me out of state for a couple of weeks. Wish I could be there, sounds like a good time.

Sorry you two can't make it, would have been fun to meet a fellow Cutler catter. Great job this year on some nice fish, hopefully you'll be back next year to help us retake the title. Safe journeys. Later J
