Any updates on scofield? Planning a little trip but i always seem to run into ice everytime i try around this time of the year.

Well scofield is usually the first to freeze up every year.

If you have noticed an absence of Scofield reports this year there are a couple of reasons. Low water level, 12% right now, and the abundance of chubs. There has hardly been anyone fishing there the last couple of years. If you have very far to drive to get there, I would seriously look at somewhere closer.

Ah, but let's not poison it and rehabilitate it. Let's keep pouring Cutthroats and Tiger Trout in there to eat some of the chubs. It's better to have a unique fishery where there are a couple of big Tiger Trout, rather than a productive one where people actually use the State Park.
