Hit Jordanelle today. Got a late start. Couldn't get the atv started. Was fishing at 9:30. Zero degrees! There were already 20 or so people out, mostly on the south side. We started catching fish right away but no size to the perch. Took home 6 nice Bows, two over 16", sushi'ed em up tonight for dinner. Also took home 20 perch 7-8" each. This was the slowest perch bite all week. Caught a lot of small ones, (50-60). The trout were biting good until about noon. They wouldn't touch mealies or perch meat today, only waxies.
I left at 2:30. It was 33 degrees. It was beautiful. There were about 25 vehicles between the ice and the porta-potty. I guess the word is out.
