There is ice, but it's very thin right now. A woman fell through yesterday trying to save her dog.

When I drove past it on my way to the BYU/USU game on Saturday morning, there was ice, but not covering the whole lake, and still some open water. Not real familiar with Mantua myself, having never fished there, but I think there's still a week or more of waiting before the ice is safe.

However, if the weather at that football game was anything to go by, it is probably freezing at a rapid pace

Haha yeah I was in the 2nd row on the south end right at the goal line, so that defensive back who picked up the fumble and ran it into the end zone was like 20 feet in front of me. Crazy, crazy game
