U. L. ice

I'm slowly losing my fishing motivation. I gotta get this fixed! U. L. has become my favorite fishing hole. Any ice condition and fishing success reports would be appreciated. Help me save what's left of my sanity.

Tried out some new auger blades in the Provo harbor today. Ice was 5 inches and solid.
I didn't fish.
There were white bass carcasses on the ice.
No one fishing the harbor some trucks out on the north dike.

Tom,
I have made a couple trips out on UL this ice season. The first trip ice was 4-5 inches and fishing was hot. The second trip out ice was more like 7 inches but fishing was next to nil. The area had been hit hard in the week between trips. The reports have been hit and miss with guys catching bunches or not getting a bite. That for me is normal for UL ice. When they are there they get caught in bunches, when they arent there you soak worms and enjoy the day.
