Hey Guys just wanted to give a quick post about the Fins and Fur Derby at East Canyon yesterday. We met a lot of great people up there and had a great time! We already looking forward to next year and can't wait to see everyone again! There were some great fish caught yesterday. Here are the results.
1st place - 19" Trevor Rasmussen
2nd place - 18.5" Bill Strong
3rd place - 18.5" Jeremy Wisner
I have attached a few pics of some of the fish caught. Thanks again Everyone and see you all next year!

Thanks for the Derby results and pictures. It looks like you had nice weather.
Much better results than the Scofield tourney with a whooping 14 incher taking top prize.[:/]
Nice to see a splake show up in the catch. The DWR stocked over 41,000 of them at between 5" - 6" long in 2012. Doesn't look like they are growing very fast for a three year old fish.

Thanks for posting the winners and the pics. That bow in the last pic is a nice one for EC. I'm curious, with the second and third winners being the same length, how did you determine who got second and who got third?

The way we do tie breakers which is stated in the rules is if there is a tie then it goes to the fish that is measured first.
